Kinfolk Volume Three
This third volume of Kinfolk explores how we all might benefit from incorporating more of the things we love into our daily routines instead of saving them for the weekend or our next vacation. The essays and personal stories focus on welcoming food, community, and simplicity into our lives as regularly as possible. Over 50 well-known artists collaborate to showcase people creating these routines: a design firm finding ways to eat together at the office, a married couple trying to eat breakfast together every morning, and a young family the unintentionally created their own morning ritual of breakfast and freshly pulled espresso. Meals and relationships evolve in tandem: setting a date for lunch, finding our favorite restaurants and local spots, or sharing a meal that ultimately leads to marriage. These meals, moments, and places make us who we are individually and collectively. They leave sweet memories to revisit every time we return to the table. -
